Rome: 3 Nights

Arrival in Rome

Rome

On arrival in Rome Fiumicino Airport, a driver will be there to greet you to take you to your hotel where you will stay for three nights. Later, you will be immersed into the history of this incredible city with a tour of the classic sights of Rome, like the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona, all with the guidance of a local expert. This will be a truly wonderful introduction into the ‘eternal city’.

Vatican Museums & Imperial Rome

Today, your tour guide will treat you first to an exceptional private tour of Vatican City, where you will be able to enter and admire the most important rooms of the Vatican Museums, like the Borgia Apartments, the Carriages Rooms, Raffaello’s Rooms, the magnificent Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica and St Peter’s Square. After lunch authentically Roman-style, you will visit the iconic Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. You’ll also walk through ancient Rome along the Via Sacra.

Leisure Day in Rome

Today you’ll have a completely free day to enjoy relaxing, shopping for gifts, seeing the local attractions at your own pace, or just bar hopping savouring the local food and drink in this wonderful city. Spend your day exploring the architectural wonders of Ancient Rome or perhaps find a perfect streetside cafe to while away the afternoon listening to music, watching the world go by and sampling some gelato or Italian pastries.

Florence: 2 Nights

Travel to Florence

Florence

On check out from the hotel, a driver will pick you up and take you to Roma Termini to catch a train to the Stazione Santa Maria Novella, Florence, where another driver will greet you and complete your onward journey to your Florence hotel. Later, you will embark on a walking tour of Florence, discovering its secular heritage and architectural evolution as a city, from the Roman to the medieval centuries, the glorious Renaissance period, as well as modern-day Florence.

Tour of Monreale

Siena, San Giminiano, Monteriggioni

All in one day you will visit Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, as well as enjoying the local ‘vino’ and lunchtime delicacies in the glorious Chianti hills. You’ll begin the day in the medieval hilltop village of Monteriggioni before moving onto Siena where you’ll explore the Siena Cathedral and Piazza del Campo. After visiting San Gimignano, you’ll head to the famous Chianti region in the Tuscan countryside to enjoy a wine tasting in a vineyard.

Venice: 3 Nights

Travel to Venice & Romantic Gondola Ride

On check out from the hotel, Florence, a driver will pick you up and take you to the Stazione di Santa Maria Novella from which you will catch an onward train to the Stazione di Santa Lucia in Venice, where you will be greeted by a water taxi and taken to your specifically chosen Venetian hotel. That evening you will enjoy a gondola ride down the shining Grand Canal, venturing down the inner canals, accompanied by musicians singing and performing romantic Italian classics.

This tour is composed of three parts and allows you to discover all of Venice’s most important places: in the first part of the tour, an experienced tour guide will accompany you through the thousand-year history of the most serene republic; in the second part of the tour, you will visit Doge’s Palace and the Halls of Power with your guide, and then finally you will discover one of the world’s most majestic cathedrals and a true masterpiece of Byzantine art, the Golden Basilica.

You can visit the Rialto Bridge, one of the most famous in the city, while away the hours people watching in St Mark’s Square or head to the Gallerie dell’Accademia to soak up the art.
